Has anybody visited Madagascar? I've heard there are many species and even trees that are only found on that island. It looks gorgeous as well. I think most people associate it with the movies, but what can anyone tell me about the real Madagascar?

The first thing that came to mind was, "I like move it, move it." I've honestly never met anyone who's been to Madagascar nor have I been there myself. However, I do agree with you that it is a gorgeous and mysterious location. Not only that, but it's pretty much paradise--judging by the reviews posted on Trip Advisor: Madagascar. Looking at the water and excursions available, I'd say it's a worthwhile retreat. You can explore Baobab groves, go scuba diving, play with lemurs, check out Rova palace (seems like a remnant of French occupancy but not entirely sure).
