Do you know that a single gun bullet is considered a deadly explosive in the Philippine airports? Before the elections in May of this year, there were cases everyday of airline passengers being caught carrying bullets - mostly 1 bullet and rarely more than 1. They are held in the airport and not allowed to embark on their plane. In short, they miss their flight just because of that bullet. But worse, the bullet was not theirs and they are puzzled on how that bullet got into their bag. So the public has the consensus that authorities in the airport have been planting bullets in the bags of some passengers for extortion purposes.
  2. So what's the penalty for illegal possession of a bullet in The Philippines? In Malaysia, a person caught with a bullet in their possession can be charged with a crime which carries a mandatory death sentence. Is it the same in The Philippines?
